While Aqiqah is ideally performed on the seventh day after a child's birth, it can be done at any later time if the parents are unable to fulfill it on that day. The flexibility in timing allows families to perform Aqiqah when they are financially and practically able. Although the 7th, 14th, or 21st days are preferred according to Islamic tradition, there is no strict deadline, making it possible to perform Aqiqah weeks, months, or even years later. The primary goal is to fulfill the ritual when it is feasible, ensuring the child receives the blessings associated with this Sunnah.
