At what age is Aqiqah performed?

Aqiqah is traditionally performed on the seventh day after the birth of a child, as per Islamic custom. If it cannot be done on the seventh day, it is recommended to perform it on the 14th or 21st day, or any subsequent day that is convenient for the family. This practice is rooted in the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, who advised this timing. However, if circumstances make it difficult to perform Aqiqah early, it can be done later, and there is no specific age limit, allowing families to fulfill this ritual when they are able.
