At home
With an at-home Mundan, your child stays in a familiar place. Your child can sit comfortably or be held by a parent. Choose a clean, quiet, well-lit area, and expect hair to fall, so pick a space that is easy to clean.
What to have ready
- 2 to 3 clean towels for hair and cleanup
- Water, wipes or tissues if needed
- Comfortable clothing for both child and parent
- A favorite toy, blanket or snacks
At the shop we do not provide shared toys or TVs, for sanitation reasons, so please bring your child's own comfort items.
If your baby gets fussy
Children may move or get fussy, and that is normal. Our barbers are experienced with children of all ages and trained to handle the process with patience, care and precision. Tip: a well-rested, fed baby with a fresh diaper makes the whole experience easier. Avoid nap times.
