Dandies Barber Policies for Patrons

Dandies barbershop is a place to get amazing haircuts for you. To ensure the best experience, our staff has developed certain policies to keep everyone safe and secure. These policies are based on business etiquette, common sense, and human decency.

Dandies barbershop is a public place. Customers are expected to act with courtesy toward the shop's employees and other patrons. As a client, you and your behavior collectively contribute to the culture of the shop and barbers.

ACCEPTANCE OF POLICIES:

As part of the booking process, patrons agree to the following policies. If you do not agree to any of these policies, please call us beforehand so we can cancel your appointment.

APPOINTMENT REFUSAL POLICY

As part of a barbershop's responsibility to its customers, it has the right to refuse service if there is any concern about health and safety. Some examples of such concerns include lice, skin infections or open wounds. This could also be extended to cover countermeasures such as refusing service to anyone with a continuous cough or fever.

COMPLAINT / REDO POLICY

We offer a 48-hour redo policy on haircuts. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of your cut, text +18332396647, and we will be able to book you with any barber available within 48 hours to fix your service.

LATE ARRIVALS

We are often booked back to back. Our clients deserve the best service, so we allocate time for each client to manage their own time. We regretfully cannot satisfactorily complete any service if a client arrives late than the scheduled time. Arriving on time for your scheduled appointment insures the proper time necessary for us to comfortably complete your services. We have a 10 minutes late policy: Beyond that, we will mark you as a no-show which could result in a reschedule. We ask that you text at +18332396647 to inform the barber that you are running late. The message goes directly to the scheduled barber.

NO SHOWS

We understand that things come up but we cannot keep your appointment nor schedule you for a new time if you do not give us enough advanced notice to fill the vacancy. We certainly don’t want to inconvenience you but we also cannot allow others to be inconvenienced or left waiting. If you miss your appointment, we will charge you NO SHOW fee mentioned under the service scheduled. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse future services to anyone who repeatedly fails to show up for an appointment without the courtesy of an advanced cancellation or notification.

LATE CANCELLATIONS

We ask that clients give us a minimum of 2 hours' advance notice if they plan on canceling an appointment. If you'd like to change or cancel your appointments, please use our online booking service. You can also text us at +18332396647 to let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellation fees are listed next to each service in the appointment portal.

UNRULY CLIENTS

As a patron, you should behave in a responsible manner at Dandies Barbershop. If clients do something wrong, we will ask them to leave. Intoxication or bad behavior is not acceptable at Dandies. There are times when a barber or other customer may have to be asked to leave the shop. Please note that you will be charged for the hour at Dandies we highly value our reputation in the community and expect barbers to work hard to protect it.

DRINKS POLICY

Salons, barbershops and other beauty establishments in California are permitted to serve alcohol without obtaining a license as long as they do not exceed the maximum per-customer limits set by law. These establishments must adhere to the legal requirements and also ensure the safety of their patrons by asking them not to consume more than one drink at a time. Dandies Barbershops has adopted this policy as part of its commitment to providing its customers with an enjoyable experience while also ensuring their safety.

REFUND POLICY

We want you to be happy with your purchase, and we stand behind our products and services. We provide a generous 30-day return policy on all unopened products, so there is no risk to you. For opened products, there is a 25% restocking fee. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your haircut or beard grooming session, please let us know what we can do to make your day a little brighter. At Dandies we want you to be completely satisfied!

PETS POLICY

We welcome your pets and service animals at Dandies. We ask that you keep them on a leash and under control while you visit our barbershop. Please obey our friendly staff and keep your pets in control and clean. Feel free to bring your pet, but please keep it leashed. Also, be mindful that other patrons would not want your dog near them, so be sure your dog is friendly and will not bother anyone. Please leave if we have to ask you to leave because of a pet disturbance.

KIDS CUTS POLICY

When you arrive at Dandies Barbershop with your child, we are happy to accommodate your needs. However, it is important that your child has patience and the ability to sit still our barbers are not trained to cut children's hair, so please keep in mind any time restrictions or safety concerns. Before the haircut begins, we recommend discussing these issues with your child.


CELL PHONES

Cell phones can be a distraction and make it difficult for our staff to provide you with the best service possible. We ask that you keep your cell phone on silent or vibrate during your trip to Dandies Barber. As part of the Dandies Barber experience, we ask that you do not use your phone while our staff provides you with the highest quality service.

TIERED CANCELLATION POLICY

For groups booking service appointments (wedding, groomsmen, etc.), we request at least 72 hours' notice for any cancellations or schedule changes. Canceling this kind of appointment without giving 72 hours' notice will result in a charge of 50% of the service amount per guest. Larger bookings take a great deal of scheduling and planning, so notify us well in advance if you need to change your appointment dates.
